Dr. Mark Scamardella graduated from Fordham University with a BA in Natural Science; received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the New York University College of Dentistry; and graduated from the NYU Advanced Dental Education Program. Dr. Scamardella’s training awarded him with several NYU prestigious awards including the Irwin Raymond Thall Memorial Award and the Robert J. Ditolla Memorial Award.
Dr. Scamardella's advanced training and continuing education ensures that patients receive the advantages of the latest dental innovations. He is a member of many professional societies including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
In addition to his professional affiliations, Dr. Scamardella is currently a member of Rotary International, the Staten Island Rotary Club, as well as a fun loving coach of his son's intramural basketball and baseball teams.
