Patients enjoy being treated with Invisalign because the system is virtually invisible to others while it is being used. The Invisalign system is actually made up of a series of clear plastic aligners. These aligners cannot be seen by others while they are being worn. Each patient will wear aligners which are made specifically for them and their smile situation. Each set of aligners contains anywhere between about 15 and 35 aligners. Each aligner is worn for two weeks, so that the teeth can be slowly moved into their new, desired positions. By the time you wear your final aligner, you will have your beautiful new straight smile in place.
